I was amazed to notice that some of the buses in Liverpool and surrounding area now remove the route number and destination from the front for random periods of up to 10 seconds to run a sequence of adverts instead.

So, the poor folk at bus stops have absolutely no idea whether to stick their arms out to hail an oncoming bus or not. Is it the route they are waiting for or not? They can’t tell.

What mad person from mad land thought up this mad idea? I think we should be told!
